Weeklong Deals for 7/17/17

Welcome to another Weeklong Deal roundup! In case you didn’t know, every week Steam puts out a swath of week-long discounts on indie and lesser-known games. Occasionally big or notable titles get caught up in the tide, but most of the time it’s a lot of stuff of, shall we say, questionable quality. That’s where I come in, to sort out the ones I’ve reviewed and let you know what’s worth a look. And that’s what I’ll be doing right here!

One more thing! Until I get everything up on the website, the review links will still go to the reviews on Steam. It’s less confusing that way.

Refunct (review) – A very short first-person platformer with a lot of unexpected charm

Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart (review) – One of the better hidden object games to start on the genre with

Mutant Mudds Deluxe (review) – Perfectly solid, if unambitious, retro platformer

The Silent Age (review) – Casual point-and-click adventure with a fine little time travel gimmick

Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden (review) – Essentially a BioShock hidden object game, and just as fun and campy as it needs to be

Shadowgate (review) – An excellent remake of the classic horror adventure

Claire (review) – Locked doors and annoying enemies, the perfect indie Silent Hill experience
