Gold-Plated Games

Yesterday I posted the final day of Summer @ Camp, our newest summer review series. You can click that link to check out all 20 roguelikes I reviewed in the month of June, many of them very good and almost all of them discounted in the big Steam summer sale. It’s always a great feeling finishing a review series, not only because I accomplished a goal I set for myself, but also because now I can finally play OTHER games in my free time.

So what now? Glad you asked, because GPG is going on vacation for a bit! From July 4th to July 21st, I’m going to be off on an adventure and away from the computer. What that means is no streams during this period. So tonight at 10pm PDT on our Twitch channel, we’ll be running our first viewer-selected HELL NIGHT with a few hours of THE DEMON RUSH, and then on Monday at 9pm PDT, we’ll finish that full playthrough of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. After that, no new streams until Monday the 22nd, when we’ll start a full playthrough of THE MISSING. To recap:

• Last stream before break is MONDAY, 7/1 at 9pm PDT
• First stream after break is MONDAY, 7/22 at 9pm PDT

Even though there will be no streams, there WILL be new reviews while I’m out! I’m building a backlog of reviews right now to schedule during that time, so keep checking in on Wednesdays and Fridays for new reviews of games we’ve streamed in the last few months. I’m not sure I can do Weeklong Deals or Weeks in Review during the break, but I’ll try to have something up on Mondays too if possible.

Also! We’re running our vote for the July Reader’s Choice Reviews right now, which won’t happen in July but need to be chosen now! Head over here to cast your vote and help decide what we’ll be reviewing in the future.

But don’t worry! I’ll still be poking around in our Discord when I get a free moment, and keeping up everyone where I can. When I get back, be ready to launch into some big new playthroughs, our Spooktober lineup, and plenty more features here on the website!
