WEEKLONG DEALS FOR 11/16/20

You know as well as I do that the Weeklong Deals aren’t always big blow-outs, and unless you’re in the mood for a lot of sketchy anime games there’s not a whole lot to offer. There are some very solid roguelikes up, including a few personal favorites, though. You can find good stuff anywhere if you dig deep enough, but it definitely takes plenty of digging this week!

The Good Stuff

Caves of Qud (review) – Really just an incredible application of old-school roguelike design to a creative open world

Downwell (Review) – One of the best roguelike platformers around

Sproggiwood (Review) – A deceptively-cute classic roguelike

The Last NightMary (Review) – Cool horror adventure with a unique foe

The Really Not So Good Stuff

Darkstone (Review) – Was this ever a good ARPG? I posit it was not

Das Geisterschiff (Review) – Creative but ultimately tedious dungeon crawler

Razenroth (Review) – Huge waste of an interesting eldritch horror concept

Sinking Island (Review) – Could have been a neat murder mystery, if not for the awful mechanics

Nicolas Eymerich – The Inquisitor – Book 1 : The Plague (Review) – Almost so bad it’s funny, but really just bad
