Weeklong Deals for 8/27/18

It’s a lean lineup with a lot of familiar faces for the current Weeklong Deals, but that’s not to say there’s nothing of note. If you’re in the market for a series like Stronghold, Prince of Persia, Hexcells, or the ancient Caesar games then this is your week. My pick would definitely be Tangledeep, one of the best classic roguelikes to come out in recent memory.
Last Friday I streamed two recent releases, Dustwind and Airships: Conquer the Skies. Both were pleasant surprises so I’ll be working on reviews of those sooner rather than later. I’m skipping FPSummer this week since I’m working on Far Cry 4 at the moment and that’s going to take some time, but I’ll have a review of something else on Thursday to fill in the gap.
Tomorrow night at 9pm PST I’ll be doing another indie horror stream and starting off with Observer, the cyberpunk follow-up to Layers of Fear. Give my channel a follow if you haven’t yet to get a heads-up when I’m live!

Cities in Motion 2 (Review) – An impressive failure to capture the magic of the original Cities in Motion
The Outlaw, The Drunk, & The Whore (Review) – Boring, unfunny top-down arena shooter
