Weeklong Deals for 5/27/19

We have a few uncommon deals mixed in with the rest of the Weeklong Deals this week, along with an entire catalog of interesting titles. The Playism games are on sale, which covers everything from La Mulana and One Way Heroics to odd little experimental RPGs and shooters. There’s a lot of stuff on there that I want to take a look at eventually, and you might just find something that tickles your fancy, too.

Important stream reminder: This Friday we’re having our second-ever prime-time marathon stream to celebrate reaching 250 followers! I’ll be streaming from 9am to 5pm PDT, so be sure to drop by, say hey, and check out what we’re playing. I haven’t decided what we’re doing for it yet, so stay tuned for more programming info!

Rusty Lake Hotel (Review) – The weakest of the Rusty Lakes on Steam but still decent and absolutely integral to the plot

Rusty Lake: Roots (Review) – Clever, macabre puzzler that covers generations of a cursed family

Rusty Lake Paradise (Review) – Another solid adventure in the Rusty Lake universe

Hard Reset Redux (Review) – Decent robot mayhem FPS with loads of explosions

The Dream Machine (Review) – Creative and creepy claymation point-and-click adventure through the land of dreams

Black Mirror I (review) – The slowest of slow burn adventures but still some good gothic horror

Black Mirror II (Review) – A great revitalization of this gothic horror adventure series

Black Mirror III (Review) – The finale of the trilogy and a wonderful adventure on its own

Silence of the Sleep (review) – Unique horror adventure that changes styles a few times

Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart (Review) – One of the best hidden object games in my library

Haunted Past: Realm of Ghosts (review) – A pretty okay hidden object game with some light horror themes

Cargo Commander (Review) – Neat collect-a-thon roguelike platformer

Pixel Puzzles: Japan (Review) – Jigsaws with a decidedly Japanese flavor

Slender: The Arrival (Review) – A masterclass in ruining a perfectly good horror concept

Forward to the Sky (Review) – Far too boring and thin for a 3D platformer

Hero of the Kingdom III (Review) – An absolutely huge misstep for an otherwise fantastic series

Deadly Traps (Review) – Another uninspired challenge platformer

Deadly 30 (Review) – Boring side-scrolling zombie survival
