Weeklong Deals for 7/29/19

You can always count on me to unearth Weeklong Deals both foul and fair, even if Steam itself does a crappy job announcing them. This round is mostly deals that have been around before, but includes some real indie gems like Brigador and Tower of Time.
There’s always plenty going on here and on our Twitch channel, but today I want to direct you to our current August Reader’s Choice nominations. Every month I let people nominate games for me to review, and then we vote on what everyone wants reviewed and take the top two. I’m adding an extra day to the current nominations, so if there’s a game that fits the criteria ($20 or less, short) that you’ve been curious about, nominate it! You don’t have to be a Patron to nominate either, just make a Patreon account if you don’t have one and comment your nomination right on that post.
Get thee on it
Crypt of the NecroDancer (Review) – The rhythm roguelike that surely all roguelike fans have played by now
Momodora: Reverie Under The Moonlight (Review) – Charming, atmospheric platformer with heavy Dark Souls influence
Brigador (Review) – About as good as cyberpunk dystopian chaos gets in gaming
Tower of Time (Review) – Terrific indie RPG with unique systems and the best real-time-with-pause battle system around
FRAMED Collection (Review) – Neat little noir puzzler built around manipulating comic panels
Death Coming (Review) – Janky, charming puzzler about murdering a bunch of adorable bystanders
This Strange Realm of Mine (Review) – Unique mix of retro FPS action and storytelling
Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart (Review) – A bit older, but still one of the best hidden object games on Steam
One Way Heroics (Review) – Solid classic roguelike with a neat gimmick
Unholy Heights (review) – Off-beat mix of tower defense and social management sim
RymdResa (Review) – Extremely chill surreal space exploration roguelike
Chasm (Review) – Not the most ambitious metroidvania, but still a darn good time
SkyDrift (Review) – Sweet arcade airplane racing with bots
Hard Reset Redux (Review) – Solid FPS with great visuals, so long as you don’t mind some bullet-spongey enemies
Ace of Seafood (Review) – Terribly unique open-world shooter about taking over the ocean as a giant laser fish
Pinstripe (Review) – Decent platforming adventure with some questionable design decisions
Ash of Gods: Redemption (Review) – Pitch-black fantasy RPG with some very interesting decisions to make
Get thee hence
Slender: The Arrival (Review) – Extremely effective at making Slenderman not scary in the least
Cities in Motion 2 (Review) – A management sim with all the joy surgically extracted
Rise of Insanity (Review) – Bloated mess of a psychological horror game
Hero of the Kingdom III (Review) – A tragic misstep for an otherwise fantastic series
Left in the Dark: No One on Board (Review) – One of the few hidden object games too dumb for even me
Hack, Slash, Loot (review) – Neat, a roguelike with no tactical decisions to make whatsoever
Deadly Traps (Review) – Another featureless indie challenge platformer
The Dungeon Power (Review) – Another boring 3D dungeon crawl
