Weeklong Deals for 10/12/20

We’re still hanging in here, and there are still Weeklong Deals to be had! I’ve sprinkled in a few more recommendations for games I haven’t reviewed, on account of how much fun I’ve had streaming them at one point or another. There are other solid deals kicking around too, like the Rusty Lake Bundle to celebrate the release of the similarly-discounted Cube Escape Collection, and fans of the strange and macabre should definitely take note. The incredible Disco Elysium is on sale right now too, as well as a huge array of Sega-published titles for their 60th anniversary.
You won’t regret this
Star Traders: Frontiers (Review) – The total package of starship command, from trading to exploring to combat of all kinds
100% Orange Juice – A rollicking little board game to play with friends, with a surprising amount of depth and seven years of content updates
Apsulov: End of Gods (Review) – Unique horror adventure that merges Norse myth with future tech
Shadowrun Returns (review) – Very much a proof of concept for the games that followed, but still a solid CRPG
The Painscreek Killings (Review) – A very involved and often spooky murder mystery in an abandoned village
Let Them Come – Solid, straight-forward alien-blasting turret game with some unexpected depth
Super Motherload (Review) – A mining adventure much improved from its Flash origins
Anodyne 2: Return to Dust (Review) – Fantastic follow-up to the original adventure with very much its own style
Hard Reset Redux (Review) – Frantic and colorful robot FPS, if a little repetitive at times
Refunct (Review) – Wonderfully chill (and short) first-person puzzle platformer
Shower With Your Dad Simulator 2015: Do You Still Shower With Your Dad (Review) – Much deeper and more clever than you might expect
The Silent Age (Review) – Solid time-travelling point-and-click adventure
FRAMED Collection (Review) – Neat puzzler about manipulating comic panels
SkyDrift (Review) – An arcade racer built a bit in the vein of the old Crimson Skies games
NOT A HERO (Review) – Frenetic and bloody action platformer
Anodyne (Review) – Charming and at times haunting Zelda-style adventure
Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden (Review) – Pretty good hidden object game that borrows more than a little from BioShock
9 Clues: The Secret of Serpent Creek (Review) – Hilariously cheesy semi-horror HOG
Hero of the Kingdom (Review) – The original chill trading adventure
Paranormal State: Poison Spring (Review) – Another cheesy HOG, but with some real-world awkwardness
Schein (review) – Challenging puzzle platformer with a light-based gimmick
You will definitely regret this
Vertiginous Golf (Review) – Mini-golf devoid of whimsy or joy
Until I Have You (Review) – Neat style, atrocious everything else
