Weeklong Deals for 9/21/20

Survival and adventure seem to be the words of the week with these Weeklong Deals, featuring some big names like The Long Dark and indie gems like Dawn of Man and Eastshade. A few of these recommendations don’t come around very often, such as Horizon Chase Turbo and Dropsy, so you might want to grab them while the grabbin’s good. Oh, and the Command & Conquer Remaster made it to the midweeks, which you may be interested in if you still hold that classic RTS series in your heart.
I should say so!
Dawn of Man (Review) – Charming prehistoric-era village builder that’s gotten impressive post-release content
The Long Dark (review) – Excellent survival experience with a less-than-excellent story mode
Eastshade (Review) – Wonderful open-world adventure with no combat and lovely scenery
Brigador (Review) – Peak cyberpunk giant robot chaos simulator
Ash of Gods: Redemption (Review) – Intense dark fantasy RPG using the Banner Saga engine
Horizon Chase Turbo (Review) – Unique arcade racer with a lovely retro style
Dropsy (Review) – Ridiculously charming point-and-click adventure
Nevermind (Review) – A solid swing at the psychological horror genre
Hero of the Kingdom: The Lost Tales 1 (Review) – Possibly the least ambitious title in the series, but still decent
Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart (Review) – One of the best hidden object games from Artifex Mundi
Teleglitch (Review) – An all-time great survival horror roguelike
RONIN (Review) – Jankier and less precise than it really should be, but still a good time
Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi (Review) – Fascinating classic FPS with roguelike mechanics
Seeds of Resilience (Review) – Odd sort of turn-based survival sim
Ghoulboy (Review) – Something of a love letter to Ghosts & Goblins, except actually much nicer
FreeCell Quest (Review) – All the freecell solitaire you could ever want, wrapped in simple RPG trappings
I dare not!
Pacify (Review) – Dumb multiplayer spook sim with a dumb ghost to avoid
Darkstone (Review) – Impossibly clunky old ARPG
Sinking Island (Review) – Had the potential to be a really cool detective game, but totally wasted it
Nicolas Eymerich – The Inquisitor – Book 1 : The Plague (Review) – Lol
Twin Sector (Review) – Legendarily bad
The Body Changer (Review) – Neat attempt at a 3D metroidvania, but just too rough
