Weeklong Deals for 9/6/21

Happy… whatever the hell holiday this is! All I know is that I got Monday off, and I spent it doing things like buying furniture and eating which pushed your regularly-scheduled Weeklong Deals into the evening. But I’m not going to let you down now, especially with all these solid horror and adventure titles up for grabs!
I daresay so
Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! – I only played the free version of this, but if you’re into visual novels and horror, I’m pretty sure you’ll dig this
Banished (Review) – This excellent village-building sim single-handedly launched an entire subgenre of survival builders
Stronghold Crusader HD (Review) – For pure volume and complexity of castle sieging, I don’t think this can be beat
Heaven’s Vault – Incredibly clever sci-fi mystery adventure where the puzzles are about decoding language
Stronghold HD (Review) – Not quite as deep as Crusader, but has more charm and character in its campaign
Aven Colony (Review) – Chill sci-fi colony builder
Yoku’s Island Express (Review) – The perfect marriage of metroidvania and pinball
Cube Escape Collection – Fans of macabre point-and-clicks cannot afford to miss these classics
Sacred 2 Gold (Review) – Definitely showing its age, but worth the effort for a truly unique ARPG
The White Door – A simpler entry in the Rusty Lake series, but still a solid experience
Rusty Lake Paradise (Review) – Wonderfully creepy adventure on a cursed island
Rusty Lake: Roots (Review) – One of my favorite entries in this series
Unforgiving – A Northern Hymn (Review) – Extremely unique and atmospheric horror adventure through Swedish folklore
Slain: Back from Hell (Review) – Absolutely brutal yet undeniably metal platformer
Alwa’s Awakening (Review) – Solid, charming metroidvania adventure
The Silent Age (Review) – Simple point-and-click adventure with quality writing and mechanics
Hero of the Kingdom II (Review) – The current pinnacle of this chill trading series
Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi (Review) – Unique first-person horror shooter with roguelike elements
Bunker Punks (Review) – A roguelike FPS that’s bigger on style than depth
Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken (Review) – Neat action platformer in the OG Prince of Persia vein
Nongunz (Review) – Cruel, confusing, and captivating roguelike platformer
FreeCell Quest (Review) – Nigh endless FreeCell to play, wrapped in a thin RPG layer
OK/NORMAL (Review) – Wonderfully atmospheric PS1-style horror
6180 the moon (Review) – Simple-looking platformer that’s hiding some true genius
Black Paradox (Review) – Extremely stylish side-scrolling shmup
Mysterious Realms RPG (Review) – The name may be generic but the battle system is anything but
I daren’t not
Hero Siege (Review) – A confused mess of an arena ARPG
Silver Chains (Review) – Yet another first-person horror romp that’s not worth your time
Cities in Motion 2 (Review) – Absolutely blew everything that was good about the original
Deadly 30 (Review) – Takes zombie survival to a new level of boring
Everybody Loves Skeletons (Review) – …Apparently not
Hack, Slash, Loot (review) – Here’s how you make a roguelike without any understanding of the genre
STANDBY (Review) – And here’s how you make a completely unfun precision platformer
