Weeklong Deals for 3/25/19

I gotta say, these are the kind of Weeklong Deals I live for, the ones where a bunch of rare and unique games come around on sale! In addition to everything I’ve got to talk about below, there are some really neat titles like Despotism 3k and DEMON’S TILT to check out, so if your tastes are more on the eclectic side it might be time to poke through some deals. And on that note, I’m going to be opening up nominations for our April Reader’s Choice Review tomorrow, so start thinking about what you’d like me to focus on next month!
Give it a go
Brigador (Review) – Fantastic isometric giant robot chaos and also probably the most cyberpunk game on Steam
Momodora: Reverie Under The Moonlight (Review) – Very tight and satisfying Souls-style metroidvania
Settlements (Review) – If you can get past the Win 3.1 presentation, this is a wonderfully deep city builder/survival/RPG hybrid
Refunct (review) – Extremely chill and satisfying first-person platformer
Immortal Redneck (Review) – The reigning champion of the FPS-roguelike pack
Unholy Heights (review) – Extremely Japanese mash-up of tower defense and social management
Halfway (Review) – Brutally difficult sci-fi turn-based tactics
One Way Heroics (Review) – Solid roguelike in the classic style with a really neat gimmick
Timberman (Review) – Chop all the wood!
Clash Force (Review) – Charming retro platformer without many bells or whistles
Kautic – The Bald Wizard (Review) – Janky but unique indie platformer
Pixel Puzzles: Japan (Review) – Do jigsaw puzzles!
Depths of Peril (Review) – Incredibly unique ARPG held back by how incredibly janky it is
Deep Under the Sky (Review) – Very chill one-button physics puzzler
Lunnye Devitsy (Review) – Neat little atmospheric platformer
Give it a pass
Hero of the Kingdom III (Review) – I never imagined this beloved franchise could miss the mark so badly, but here we are
Forward to the Sky (Review) – Not enough content, and not that fun to begin with
Deadly 30 (Review) – Aggressively repetitive zombie survival
Bardbarian (Review) – Neat idea, boring execution
Frankenstein: Master of Death (Review) – The rare HOG that’s too dumb even for me
The Dungeon Power (Review) – Boringest dungeon ever
Kholat (Review) – Very atmospheric for the first few minutes, then just falls flat
Incredipede (Review) – Neat idea, but that’s about it
Sinking Island (Review) – Could have been a very cool detective game, but almost impossible to progress
Wake (Review) – Escaping a sinking cruise ship should be more fun than this
